Social Impact from Culture

During 2021, Adonar developed a training cycle called "Social Impact from Culture". Its objective was to strengthen the capacities of people and entities that work in the field of culture and art by providing a common framework, tools, references and resources that allow the generation of effective strategies and projects for social inclusion from the cultural field.
The training days, in which 20 people participated, took place at the El Carmen Cultural Center and were organized around 3 main themes: Context and reference frameworks (what does "Inclusive Culture" or "Culture + Social" refer to? existing regulatory and legislative frameworks, financing mechanisms and sources); Design and formulation of inclusive cultural projects, and Evaluation of projects and Accompaniment to transformative projects (subjective and implicit elements). Likewise, a fourth space was dedicated to dialogue and visibility around inclusive culture experiences and programs in Valencia and Spain.
The development of the training - and its evaluation by those who attended - made it possible to highlight the importance of these meeting spaces, and the need to deepen the instances for the development of capacities in order to promote a more inclusive and social culture in the Valencian Community.
