Valientes PhotOn is a social intervention project, aimed at young people in care or in the process of emancipation, which uses photojournalism as a tool for transformation: through the construction of visual stories and contact with cultural facilities, young people become active and creative actors, which makes it possible to strengthen personal, social and autonomy skills, necessary for their emancipation process. The project also seeks to influence the social imaginary by making visible the reality of young people through their own eyes, raising awareness in society about a little-known and stigmatized group.

Within this framework, Adonar has accompanied the Documenta Photo Association with the aim of strengthening the initiative and co-designing and co-managing a pilot of the project within the framework of the "Educating City" Call of the Valencia City Council, which made it possible to test the methodology and submit to the Art for Change 2018 call, becoming one of the selected projects.

The pilot was implemented by forming an artistic team (Documenta Photo), responsible for mentoring and guiding the Valientes to develop a personal photographic project, and a social team (Adonar) responsible for accompanying the execution, monitoring and evaluating the project. providing tools and knowledge in the field of social intervention to the artistic team. Likewise, Adonar has functioned as a bridge between the cultural and social spheres, linking social entities that worked with the target population of the project.

The initiative culminated with the exhibition of the collective Valientes, Tot comença amb una foto, at the La Nau Cultural Center (2019).
